Hi lads,
Just need a bit of reassurance, I am currently having a new kitchen fitted but basically in the same position as the old my wife is a bit concerned as she can see loose twin & earth cabling under the new units I have been told that this is quite normal rather than having to fix the cabling round the back, can anybody confirm if this is true or if it is unsafe or just bad practice.
Thanks in advance Nutty

Hi, it is common practice to run around back of units but they should be clipped to wall to comply with 'good practice'.
Don't forget if ANY alterations made to wiring in kitchen then must be done by Part P regd. person, who must issue test sheets, & register work with Bldg. Control through his authorising body, you should get top copy of test sheet, and within short time a card from b-c confirming reg.
