Changing Ceiling Rose Pendant

by moz-uk » Wed Dec 02, 2009 8:56 am

I would like to change a few of my ceiling rose pendants as the shades I bought do not fit the ones I have at present. It is a new build and the ones that I want to change are the new larger ones(G24?) which accept the pin low energy bulbs. I'd like to switch them back to the regular ones(which accept regular bulbs). Can I do this or are there options of adapting the new kind back to the old kind.
Cheers.

hi ,
it is a legal requirement under building regs to have some low energy lamps fitted to new properties so that only low energy lamps are fitted, but I can't see a problem with fitting standard ones in place once you own it.
