Gas pipe coming in at outside boxed meter is earthed.

Proposal is to use the iron pipe as the equipontential earth connection for the C/H by fitting another earth strap on the iron pipe in utilty room where the c/h boiler is and strapping all exposes boiler pipework forming equipotential bonding. Is this ok.

Now another point is the airing cupboard cold water incoming plastic but bond strapped the copper pipe side can this earth be used to bond the nearby c/heating pipes?.

if you look at boiler pipe work most modern boilers have all pipes connected through a steel gland plate which is bonded to boiler wirings earth so do not require external bonding.
When cross bonding pipes in a vulnerable location it is not required to connect back to main earth, merely to keep all exposed pipework at same potential.
