Several of my kitchen electrical sockets have started to give issues. Firstly three of them have switches which won't switch, so permanently stuck in the on position, and now 2 of them have stopped providing any electrical supply. I never had any issues previously - the kitchen was an extension completed to a high standard 7 years ago, just a year prior to me buying the house.

Most likely cause is moisture getting into the sockets, replacement is your only option.
