Our bathroom has newly installed electric underfloor heating. The cable is covered with 10mm porcelain tiles on quick-set adhesive. How long should we wait after completion of tiling before using the underfloor heating so as to not adversely affect the adhesive?

Your electrician who installed it should be able to give you the information from the manufactuers
guidelines on installation methods.

When we had it laid a week later it had still not set. We had to lift all tiles and re-lay with same make and type of adhesive but different tub and batch number.
All you can go on is the info on the tub. And if it has not set in time stated likely cement has gone off before it was laid.
