I know its not quite diy but how much would I look to spend on a qualified person replacing
my current unit?
The current one is fuse wire plug in modules, I have replaced some with mini pcb's but
have had problems sourcing some of them.

Cheers

In wales , under my competent persons scheme , prices start at £ 225 . 00.
This would start for a small split load board to 17th ed , and includes the time spent
to completely test and inspect , the installation, and compile the electrical installation
certificate , and register the work with my competent persons scheme provider.
As the number of circuits increase to test , then the price increases to reflect the
extra work required.
