lighting circuit problem

i have no power to my kitchen lighting curcuit but the circuit breaker has not tripped.this happened after the heavy rain

Hi JOCK,
several possibilities, if all other lights on is kitchen an extension to original house? reason being that sometimes lights in extensions fed from power circuit via fused spur tucked away some where you may not even have noticed it! local fuse could have blown in spur, otherwise more info on house layout would be helpful,

WOULD U B THE SAME PERSON WHO HAD PROBLEMS WITH SOCKETS TRIPPING MCB AND RCD. MESSAGE WAS POSTED ON 15TH JUNE 2007 ?????????????

i need 2 run a lighting feed for 2 lights in my attic,whats the easiest and safest way 2 do this without going back 2 fuse board.thanks
