I am having a new kitchen fitted and am changing from a gas oven to electric, apart from that nothing else electrical will be changing, can you tell me if it is necessary for a new ring main for this work, or could a switch just be added to the fuse box?
Apologies if the terminology isn’t great ... I don’t know too much about electrics

PHILL
WE COULD ADVISE BUT WE R NOT DOING THE WORK.
AS THE WORK IS NOTIFIABLE APPOINT A PART P REGISTERED
SPARK AND HE CAN ADVISE ON EXACITLY WHAT U WANT TO INSTALL IN YOUR KITCHEN . HE CAN CHECK RATINGS OF NEW APPLIANCE AND ADVISE ON NEW CIRCUITS ECT.
