Under Tub - outside all zones

Hi
I've had conflicting advice on what can be put in under the bathtube. The sides cannot be removed without using a tool, so my understanding is this is outside all zones.
i'm lookin to get a shower pump fitted.
Can a socket be put under a bath for the pump, or should it be connected to an FCU outside the bathroom.
Also been told it can only be a low voltage pump - is this correct?
Cheers

IDEALLY ( OF COURSE YOUR PART P SPARK WILLADVISE )
I WOULD PUT THE PUMP UNDER THE BATH AND PUT THE
SUPPLY TO IT UNDER FLOOR BOARDSTO RCD SPUR OUTSIDE
BATHROOM. MOST OF THE THESE PUMPS ARE STEP DOWN VOLTAGES ANYWAY.

Thanks Blakey.
If the ring main will be on the CU RCD, do I need another one, or will an FCU be sufficient?
Cheers

Hi, guess BLAKEYS working !! HI, Hi,
yup if ring on rcd then just FCU suffices, but under current regs [this year anyway] must take 4mm earth from FCU to local pipes, & as most pumps are placky link across incoming to outgoing pipes, regards SPARX

Under the tub is actually zone 0. Must be IPX7 protection, only 12v SELV equipment is allowed that cannot be reasonably located elsewhere.
No switchgear allowed in zone 0 I am afraid.
Regs 601-08-01 and 601-09-01 apply

Hi
I thought Zone 0 was in the tub and if you need a tool to remove side of tub then it is outside all zones.
Is this not correct?
Also what is IPX7?

Great that was what I was hoping for.
I'll make sure the electrician fits the 4mm earth too.
