My parents live in a block of flats that has an entry phone system with a push button system for the main door. They struggle to get to their entry phone to let people in. Does anyone know if there is a wireless solution that will allow the button to operate from their armchairs?

Regards.

Yes have one for mothers house at the moment only set to answer door but can be set to release door if wanted.

The door push is rather large contains two C type batteries as standard but mums is mains powered. The bell side is like a cordless phone a answer button, clear button and release button. In fact it can be your cordless phone if you want.

The one I got was £60 for here http://www.mrdoorbell.com/Wireless-Door ... 16256.html although big it's not as big as ones the council fit and if you want door release that costs more.

The idea was my mother could answer door without getting in wheel chair and tell caller she was on her way. In fact she does not use the answer bit done all sorts to try and show her how it works but it has failed she still gets into wheel chair to answer door.
