Sorry but I am a novice at DIY and need some help please.
I have one ceiling light in my garage and want to replace with two fluorescent fittings. Now I have taken a look at the ceiling rose and can see the switched live wire which has a live going to the current ceiling rose. My problem is when I put the new wires in do the live wires go into the switched wire terminal or go into where the other brown wires are?

The ceiling rose as an earth and three live wires as follows.
1 Switched line which connects to lamp.
2 Permanent line only used with emergency lamps often one has to use a connector block for these when not using an emergency lamp.
3 Neutral which also connects to lamp.

Note Neutral is classed as Live the L on items stands for Line.
