I wonder if anyone can help. The new fan has 4 wires, red/light, brown/live, blue/nuetral, yellow/green for earth.
From the ceiling we have one black, one red and 2 earth. How on earth do we wire this up??
Which one is live, black or red? Why is there 2 earth?
Any advice will be gratefully recieved!!

Thank you for getting back to us. From the wiring of the old light, we worked out black was nuetral, the unit is wired up to a switched live, and is working perfectly, thanks. The light/fan has 2 switches on it, one for the fan and one for the light, so once the unit is switched on, the light and the fan work seperately from their own switches on the unit. The fan came with assessmbly instructions only, no wiring intructions at all.
