halogen dimmer swiches

hi there can anyone tell me where i can find a 2way 2gang halogen dimmer switch please
iv just replaced my wall lights and they are halogen bulbs and iv been told i need a halogen dimmer switch to use with em as the current dimmer switch also contorls the ceiling to anyone know where i can find one

GO TO YOUR ELECTRICAL WHOLSALERS AND START THERE.
CAN T NAME THEM HERE ( ADVERTISING ) BUT U SHOULD GET
ONE. AT A WHOLE SALERS EVEN IF THEY HAVE 2 ORDER IT.

The halogen dip-beam lights on cars used to be used thro' a dropper resistor, when side-lights were on, but the low temperature of the filament caused early burn-out of the dip filament, so that regulation got abandoned.
I would expect a halogen-specific dimmer to be moderate in its voltage-drop as a result.
Fluorescent lights also, cannot tolerate much voltage-drop, but that is because it causes flicker.
easier option

sod all this messing about i just changed the bulbs from 20w to 10w that will do untill i can find a suitable dimmer
