Hi

I have just changed my standard light switch to a dimmer switch, it has L1 and L2, I connected the live wire to L1 and now L2 is free.

I now want to create another switch at the other end of the room so that i dont have to run up the end to turn the lights on and off. Im not sure how to do this and would appreciate peoples input.

Thanks alot for your time

A CABLE NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED ( 3 CORE + EARTH )
TO NEW SWITCH POSITION.
BUT U R ADDING TO EXISTING CIRCUIT EXTRA WIRING,
AND WOULD BE CHANGING VALUES DIFFERENT TO EXITING ONES RECORDED ON ORINGINAL TEST CERT.
I WOULD RECOMMEND U GET IN ELECTRICIAN TO ADVISE AND TEST 4 U.
