Ceiling Lights Replaced with Ceiling Fans now Lights on all the Time?

Hello
We have two lighting points in the living room which are operated be 2 2way switches.each of the 4 switches has a 3 core and Earth, and the two ceiling points has a 3 core flex. I can see ceiling roses above the plasterboard but cannot get to them as they have galv stop end boxes and it would cause too much damage.

There used to be 2 lights which worked fine, we took down the lights and put ceiling fans up, operated by pull cords on the fans. We've now put two lights back up but wall switches are not working, lights on permanently when power is on, not sure if any links are missing from the switches.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks Peter

Seems you have connected to center (Line) instead of outer (switched).

Often we wire the fan and light independent and often both the neutral and switched line are same colour. Should be a sleeve on the switched line but often missed.

We are told both neutral and line are live and we should not call the phase wire live but line. I still forget from time to time.
