Extending Cable that comes with B&Q Outdoor Lights? Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

Hi there.
I want to buy a pack of 4 ground spike garden spotlights from B&Q they come with the plug and 12 meter cable. Trouble is, I need a longer cable. Could I buy a different cable to use with the plug and lights and if do what sort? And how easy would it be to get it to fit to the plug.

Unknown as no idea what is already fitted. In the main it is not a problem using Self Amalgamating Tape one can join cables without any chance of water ingress. But I have no idea as to your skills.
