Changing old Boiler Switch in KItchen to Plug Socket

by ian00uk » Tue Sep 01, 2015 8:17 pm

In my kitchen I have found an old switch which used to be for water heater upstairs. This now gives power to an fcu for boiler now.

I would like to change switch in kitchen to plug socket. Is this ok?

In most cases yes. Often fed from a 16A MCB. I have swapped both kitchen and upstairs to sockets in my house. But clearly I can't see what you have I can only guess.
