No Power from Wylex RCD to Shower Switch after Wiring Repair

Hi there, I'm after some advise .
I turned the power off to investigate a downstairs wiring problem. Found a loose wire in a light switch, fixed no probs.
However since turning the power back on the shower won't work!
It's a wylex consumer rcd unit. Nothing is tripped out but after measuring the voltage to the bathroom ceiling pull switch there is nothing there!
Could the rcd of failed somehow? The shower is on its own circuit and rcd, and like I said it hasnt tripped..... Just no power getting upstairs.
Are the individual rcd easy to replace or is it an electrician job?

Thank you.

Step one switch off fully then back on again. Some times a MCB or RCD will trip but the leaver stays in on position.

Also compare feel of lever. When a RCD or MCB fails you often find the lever needs less power than normal to move it.
