Outdoor Lighting and Wiring Light Fixed to Concrete Post Question

I am trying to replace an outdoor light on a concrete gate post. The 4 existing wires in the post are red, blue, green and yellow. The light fitting only has 3 wires brown, blue and green/yellow. I know where the red/brown and blue wires connect to, but could someone please advise me what to do with the green and yellow ones?
Thanks in anticipation.

Can only assume that the four cores supply a perm live, a switch live, a neutral and an earth.
You would need to first identify what function the core colours offer.
As it stands they are only coloured cables, until Identified.
Without those facts, you are making assumption and playing a potentially dangerous game.
