Any Idea What These Wires Coming From Fuse Box Area Understairs Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

Hi there,
Before I call in an electrician, I was wondering if anyone can help me identify what these wires are and perhaps advise me on how to deal with them safely?

They originate from the cupboard under the stairs where the fuse box etc is. They are all over the house and have just been left hanging out of the walls!

Could be something to do with heating, is there underfloor heating, could be thermostat cables.

I will guess communication cables, could be for computers, or house alarm, or even telephone.

I would agree that most likely data cable rather than heating controls.
Likely first fix as a provision but project not completed.
