Setting an External Light to Come on at a Certain Time

Hello,
I have an external light that I turn on when it gets dark outside.
The switch is in the Hallway.
I am going away for a couple of days, is there a gadget I can use to make the light turn on at a certain time and off at a certain time?
The light is not operated by PIR motion detector, I have one of those at the rear of the property.

Yep loads as you have seen on the other forum. If there is a neutral at the switch very easy, if not more limited.
You can get cheap programmable thermostats, which use batteries to do timing and switching, since you say you can't find the one you want for sale, a programmable thermostat would do the job with no neutral required. Set to 0 degs for off time 30 degs for on time.

Plenty of ways to have the light come/off automatically.
Would depend on your set up and what you require to what item and method to use.

Maplin Code: A07QY and Screwfix Code (8835H) both do a switch operator that will turn a switch on and off. There will be some noise, but no wiring required. However I would guess you wanted for Christmas so now a bit late.
