Electric Radiator Installation Problem and Putting Spur Socket Behind

Hi Everyone,

I hope you can help me with this.

I have removed an old Electric Radiator and I am replacing this with a new one, but the new radiator is a bit longer in width. I don't really want to chase the wall out to relocate the sockets.

So my question is, would it be an issue if the fused spur socket is behind the Electric Radiator? rather than to the side of it. this would make my life a lot easier.

Many thanks in advance

Darren

If / when you need to isolate the radiator, you will not be able to as some joker will have put the radiator infront of the fused connection unit.

I may not have been clear. You will be able to get accces as it will be above it slightly. I just wanted to make sure it would be ok to have the socket that close?
