Help With Two-Way Two-Gang Light Switch for Upstairs and Downstairs

by drewjuk » Sat Feb 24, 2018 1:43 pm

Hi All,

I have just taken out some smart switches on my hallway/landing lights, I have totally forgotten how it was wired up before, seem to have lost the pictures I took.

All the diagrams and help on-line refer to different wiring methods, hopefully someone can help me.

There appears to be a Black and Red wire from each light to the related socket (up/down), and a switch wire between the switches (R/B/Y), I managed to get one two switch working for the downstairs light, but not both. Now I can't get either working.

Please help, much appreciated!!

Just to clarify, are the two switches (on both switch plates) both working two separate two way circuits or is one a two way and the other a one way?
