Hi Guys

Need some help guys, i am trying to hang a fluorescent light in my garage, i have 5 fluorescent lights in total in my garage.
I have 2 black 2 green/yellow, and a single blue wire coming out from the plastic tubing running along the side of the wall, i don't know how to correctly connect them to the light fitting.
The fluorescent light connection has a Live, Neutral, and earth connection as you would expect, i have put a fluorescent light up loads of times, but the lack of no Live wire coming out from the wall tubing, has me stuck. Any help much appretiated guys.,..

Thank you
Brian

Sorry to state the obvious but you need to identify what each cable does.
It is up to the person who installed it as to what colours they chose to use. There is no law that says they must use this colour for this function and that colour for that function, and even if there were, what could you do if they chose to ignore said non existent law?

It is possible to guess, but if the guess is wrong..........

I would suggest you look in the other lights and see how they are connected.

My new light has a red ,blue, and yellow earth fittings...i dont know what to join the 2 balck coming out from ceiling plastic tubing to, blue and yellow aint a problem as they are already their...thankyou for the reply mate ..

Sometimes it is best to get an electrician / competent person to do such jobs.
