External electrics spur from GET IP66 weatherproof socket

by Padster72 » Sat Jun 23, 2018 5:10 pm

Hi

We have a GET IP66 weatherproof socket outside the kitchen, and I am hoping to take a spur of that socket to run a redundant junction box (to be used for later), a set of deck lights, and a couple of wall lights (3 spurs in all).

Is this easily done? What do I need to do this?

Electricians often make things look easy, simply because of the years of training and experience, in your case I strongly recommend you call an electrician to do the job safely for you as it is not as easy as you seem to think.
