Colour to Colour simple.

What you have is two sockets in a face plate, hence link wires, but wired no different to any other socket.

To clarify what ericmark means.

You have 2 of each colour in the back box (6 in total)
Your new socket has link wires of the same colours that you have in the back box

Lets use blue as an example

Connect ONE blue incoming wire to one terminal (That already has a blue link wire)
Connect the OTHER incoming blue wire to the OTHER terminal (That has a blue link wire)

So in each terminal you will have ONLY TWO wires. (Of the same colour)
One INCOMING, and one LINK wire

(I am calling the existing wires incoming)

Repeat for the other two colours. But each terminal still only has TWO wires. when you finish.

Thankyou both for the replies and clarification mr white. It may not be clear in the picture but The earth wire has 3 wires. One of those earths is connected to the backbox. So i guess i can connect that earth to any of the earth link wires
