Installing New Ceiling Light but Help Needed With Wiring

I am currently trying to install a new ceiling light which requires me to replace the ceiling rose. I have attached pictures of the wiring and the terminal from the new ceiling light.

If i am honest I am a bit stuck as to which should be wired to which part of the terminal.

What i have tried is, the 2 neutrals to N, earth to earth, however I am unsure on the lives. Should 1 be to live and one to switched live? Note that there isn't a labelled switch live.

help is greatly appreciated!

You are quite lucky, you only have 2 cables (twin and earth) from the ceiling.
What you have so far tried is wrong.

The earth wires do go to the earth terminal
The two browns go to the L terminal
ONE blue goes to N
The other blue goes to S

What you have is a feed and a switch cable.
One brown is live coming in, the other goes to the switch. By joining these two together (and to nothing else) you allow the live to flow to the switch. When the switch is operated the live now comes up a blue wire.
As you have already connected the OTHER blue wire to N, the lamp will now illuminate. You are supposed to mark the switched live (blue wire) with brown marking to indicate it is switched live, but since we don't know which one it is it would be best not to mark it. (Earths omitted for clarity)

Next time you change a light, mark the cable cores with an indelible pen, and take several pictures, check you can see your markings on the cables in your pictures, they must be CLEAR. The reason is, this time you are lucky you only have 2 cables, normally it's 3 cables.
