Recommendations Please for Bathroom Extractor for new Ensuite

Hello folks
We're renovating a bathroom and adding an ensuite adjacent, so we will have two showers close to each other, on opposite sides of a solid brick wall.
We'd like decent and quiet extraction out from the ceiling within each shower and I'm thinking of an inline fan in the roof space sucking from both cubicles using a Y-splitter and pumping the air out under the eaves.
Questions:-
1. Any problematic implications of doing this?
2. Is it possible to do this with a humidistat in each room? How would they control the fan?
3. Any recommendations of suitable inline fans? Happy to spend a decent sum to get one with decent bearings etc.
Thanks in anticipation!
