Hi
Thanks for letting me join
I have just had my walls plastered and removed this switch but didn’t take note of where the wires came from
Can I ask how to rewire it or if I can replace it with the pictured new WiFi switch
I have 2 cables in the wall both Red Blue Yellow and both reds are live?
Any help would be great thanks

Unlikely that you can use that make of wifi switch, the energenie mihome wifi switch does not need a neutral, but many like the one you show need a neutral.

As to wiring colours are down to electrician who wired it, in the main non two way the line in and out go to common and L1 and L2 unused.

With two way switches line in and out go to L1 and L2 and Common connects to common on the other switch. So one switch of pair has two wires in L1 and L2 the other one just one wire in each terminal.

The old switch is 2 gang (It has two buttons) your new switch appears to be 1 gang (Only 1 button) so that is your first reason you can not use it. The second reason is if you look to the left there is a terminal marked N in (Quite common on wifi switches) UK lighting in the majority of cases does NOT have a neutral at the light switch, so that is another reason you can not use your new wifi switch.

As for how do you put the old switch back, that is a case of trial and error as there is no definitive colour coding for two way switching (Which is what you appear to have as you have 2, 3 core and earth cables) You could look at the other switch that operates the same light and see how that is connected and duplicate it at this switch.
