Electrician hasn't shown up twice to replace the fan so last night I pulled it out myself out of curiosity. Now I'm thinking this looks DIY'able!

Google left me more confused though. The brand Silavent seems popular but I can't tell which one has the connector that matches it.

If anyone has any idea I'd so appreciate it, will save me £80 which is my electrician's quote for parts and labour.

Sorry for the grimy photos, it's been like this since we recently moved in. Doesn't work, just makes a some buzzing noise!

Why not just buy a completely new fan?

I want to buy a new fan. One that just plugs into the existing connectors.

Since you did not clean the connectors it is hard to tell what they are, if you believe the fan is made by "Silavent" (Since you have the actual fan and we do not) why not contact them and ask which one is compatible, or failing that change the whole fan. (Probably cheaper in the long run)

You can get a brand new bathroom extractor fan for less than £20
