New light fitting with a transformer

I've just bought a new light for my dining room that has a built in transformer. The circuit is a loop so I have the usual 3 sets of wires. The new light fitting has two red wires (one tagged live and one tagged neutral) into a plastic block but it also has two black wires (one tagged live and one tagged neutral) which feed into an enamel block. I would appreciate any advice how to connect this up. Cheers NeilC

Hi, it should be marked as 230v on one connector set and the low voltage [12v] end should already be connected to the lights.
The mains L. & N. just connect to the flex terms of original rose, usually the outer 2 terms at opposite ends.
