Bathroom Fan Won't Switch off After Installing new Light

I've replaced the bathroom light with an l.e.d enclosed unit and wired it in using a connector block and 2 live, 2 neutral and 2 Earth so the wiring/switching was identical to what I replaced. Now the light and fan come on with the pull switch and the light goes off when the switch is pulled again however the fan stays on indefinitely until I turn all power off ! I am bemused. What have I done wrong.
