Wiring an extracion fan to a plug?

Hi guys, so I have converted my shed into an office but need ventilation. I bought an Xpelair VX100T, not knowing any better. It wants to be wired to the mains. Can I wire it to a UK plug? Bear in mind here I don't know the first thing about electrics really, but it appears I need some kind of step between the fan and plug?

Yes you can wire an extractor fan to a plug, but be sure to put a 3Amp fuse in the plug.

Hi, did you ever wire the fan to a plug?

If you did, how? ;)

Thanks

Harryspotter, IF you ever come back, most folk just post and go.........

The post by Dmania that you replied to, was posted on Fri Jun 12, 2020 (Admin should have not allowed your post, they say they are sorting "problems" like this, I have been asking for almost a year, and still they do nothing to improve the forum.) For reference it is now Thurs Feb 2 2023 It's a good guess that you will never get a reply from Dmania.

I should also add, if you can not figure how to connect a fan with a plug, you should get a qualified person to do it for you.

An acknowledgement that you have read this post is always appreciated
