Cooker Hood

Hi, Installing a cooker hood in the kitchen ( obviously )! I was planning on taking a spur to a fused connection unit in the chimney part of the hood. Is this ok or would the air being pumped from the hood cause problems. The steam from the cooker would go thru the filters in the hood.

Hi Andy, normal practice used by Part-p sparkies [hint] is to fit spur above nearby top cupboard and run short flex to hood,
