Hi

I am replacing a 2 way intermediate switch with a new one to match all the others.

The old one has slightly different terminals to the new one, Please can someone tell me how to wire this into the new one?

Thanks

Hi Alex1980
The switch from lightwiring.co.uk is a double intermediate switch, you need one which is intermediate + a two way switch module as per the existing.

The image was nicked from google to show the terminals I have on the new one. I did not buy from that company. As far as I can tell from the packaging it is a two way intermediate switch that I have ( new) to replace the old as pictures in situ.

The new one has two pairs of L1 at the top and two pairs of L2 at the bottom, the other side of the switch is the same. As per the nicked google image

Hi alex1980
In your photograph the left module is a cross over intermediate switch, the right module is a 2-way switch. The picture of the new switch you include in your post looks like a standard double pole switch will not work. If you are certain you have a double cross over intermediate switch (look for a X symbol on the back) you could physically wire as the existing just ignore one of the L1 connections.
You should turn off all your electricity in case the switch is supplied by different circuits.
