Cooker upgrade 16amp to 32amp for double oven

I would like to install a double oven in place of my single oven. Looking at the specification of the new oven it requires a 32amp fuse.

The oven fuse on my consumer unit is rated 16amps.

My house is 10 years old (countryside development). Whilst not conclusive, would a sparky have installed a cable that would max out at 16 amp, or would he have installed a cable capable of carrying 32amps, albeit installed a 16amp fuse as required by oven manufacturer?

I’m happy to pay a sparky for absolute confirmation, though if from the outset I’m looking at running a new cable in, I’ll likely go fo another single oven.

Any advice appreciated.

Without seeing the cable it is not possible to say.
Best option would be to get it looked at, you are going to need an electrician sooner or later anyway.
