Fuse tripped once on rewired light fixture but should I be worried?

Hi everyone. Apologies for the simplistic question and lack of vocabulary, I'm very new to DIY.

I recently rewired a table lamp, removing the switch it came with so I could mount it to the ceiling and connect it to the wall switch via the relevant box.

I used a typical three-wire cable, with live, neutral, and ground. The ground wire went around the ground screw in the socket and, as far as I can see, everything else is connected where it should as well.

The fuse tripped the first time I turned on the light, but has been working consistently since without any issues. Should I be concerned by that first incident?

I would take it apart and look at the connections, I would guess you have one that is either loose or too close to something else.
I am guessing the wire is multi-stranded? if so you should twist them together first. (So that no single strand can touch anything it shouldn't)
