LED fitted, now other lights misbehaving!

Fitted a LED batten, replaced a fluorescent in the kitchen.
Now the other 3 lights in the circuit don't work if the LED is on, work fine if it's off.
And if I switch the LED off while the other lights are switched on, (but not alight), the other lights come on and the LED has a weird faint glow along half it's length.
This doesn't happen if the other lights are switched off before switching off the LED.
What could cause this?
Flat was built in the 1960's and has 1 way light switches.

The information you give is too vague, so all I can say is you appear to have wired the new light wrong.

Wires unchanged from the fluorescent fitting, 3 red lives joined together, 1 black with red sleeve is live feed from light switch, 2 black negatives to and from the other lights.

LED has a live and neutral and that's it.

Pretty standard I think? 4 other lights on the circuit, which don't work if the kitchen LED is on and when the LED is switched off and one of the other lights are switched on, the LED glows at about half power.

What happens if you change the "double wago" to two other wagos?
or similar.

Haven't tried, I do know that if I take one of the neutral wires out of the Wago, part of the circuit is dead, either the LED in the kitchen or the rest of the lights on the circuit, depending on which neutral wire I remove.

So not sure what doing the above would achieve ?

Perhaps, I've installed a LED that can't work on a circuit with other lights?

I have never heard of a light that will not work/prevent other lights from working. (Providing it is a standalone light)
So it has to be a problem with the new light or a wiring error.
While you are changing the wago, why not put a plug on the flex you have on the new light and plug it in.

Got a electrician in, nice guy, turned out I'd wired the LED correctly and the other lights in the circuit were wired wrong.

Presume a previous owner had done this and because the fluorescent didn't light, I wasn't aware there was a problem, the LED with it's much lower power consumption did light at half power.

Glad it wasn't anything I done, I'd never hear the last of it from the wife!

Interesting, and thanks for letting us know.
