Hall way lighting /multi switch

I should know this but a little confused with the wiring of my hall way lights. Downstairs there are two switches for up and downstairs lights, whilst upstairs there is just one. I ideally would like to replace the switch upstairs with a two way one, so I can turn off the downstairs also, but a bit lost with the wiring.
There are two red wires both going into one side of the switch. A black and blue wire both into the second part and a single yellow with red big sleeve into the third. With a yellow/green wire not connected.
I assume the sleeved one is the control cable and so I would just need to split out the other 4 (two red and black and blue) to make the two switches, is this right?
The blue one also has a red big sleeve on it.
I have a photo but it exceeds the max size, so I will find a way of making it smaller.
