immersion heater

I have recently had a new immersion heater fitted and it trips the breaker after a few minutes, any ideas to the problem?

WAS WORK CARRIED OUT CERTIFIED ON A MINOR WORKS
CERTIFICATE ?
OR WAS THIS A NEW CIRCUIT RECORDED ON AN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CERTIFICATE ?
2 ND LINE OF QUESTIONS
WAS INSULATION TEST DONE ON CIRCUIT CABLE ?
IS RATING OF PROTECTIVE DEVICE SUITABLE 4 RATING OF IMMERSION
HEATER ELEMENT INSTALLED. ?

The work was done as part of a complete rewire, by registered tradesmen at my sisters house ,unfortunately i cant give you any answers to your questions, sorry. But thanks for your reply. ken2xis

MAGIC THEN YOUR SISTER CAN CALL THEM BACK TO RECTIFY
PROBLEM . THEY WOULD HAVE REGISTERED WORK WITH L.A.B.C AND ISSUED CERTIFICATES TO COMPLY WITH PART P.
IT HAS NOT BEEN UNKNOWN FOR A NEWLY INSTALLED ELEMENT TO BE
FAULTY .
