Inappropriate adverts on the forum

At the side of the web page on this forum one gets adverts, this one [attachment=0]snake-oil.jpg[/attachment] claims to save electric bills, in the main they are power factor correction devices, as to reducing the power shown on an electric meter depends on the meter, it could either increase or decrease the bill, but by a very small amount, they are often described as snake oil, i.e. complete rubbish, and the headline.

Is completely false. Supporting adverts like this does the forum no favours.
