Hi All,

Replacing a standard pendant light fitting with ceiling rose and am using a wago box in loft for the new wiring of the LED lights being fitted.

This is a 2 light room with a single switch and ceiling rose wired like the below link.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/15Sqz-W ... sp=sharing

In the new wiring I've put the 2 lives together and the 2 neutrals together and then I have the 2 separate L & N wires down to the new fittings.

With breaker back on, both lights permanently on and when I try the switch it has tripped out

Thanks

You have wired everything in parallel. When you operate the switch you are putting a dead short across the supply.

The picture you have is on google drive, you should reduce it's file size and host it here on the forum for all to see.

You have done the same thing that "boz" did, so the solution is the same for you as it was him. His post is a few below yours.

OK, thanks.

How should this be connected in the wago box?
