Safely remove old wifi cable & box (going through external wall)

Hi there, I’m looking for advice on how to safely remove and then plaster over these boxes and cables, which run through the outside wall of my flat so that I can paint the room. I believe they’re from old wifi before the area changed supplier, and they’re no longer needed (there’s separate wifi cabling elsewhere in the room). Thanks in advance!

How would anyone know if disconnected by a picture, likely is, as the use of coax for lan systems stopped some time ago, not wifi as clearly has wires.

Likely can be pulled through the wall to outside, but telephone systems were typically 50 volt, so may not be dead.

I have same in my own house, cables which look like old phone cables, but on tracing found they had been used for 230 volt to the pond, because it is phone type cable does not mean phone voltages, need to find out where the cables go.

JaneP12345, I am not intentionally being pedantic, but I have to point out your assumption is in error, the cables are NOT wi-fi (Wi-FI is radio signals that are generated by a wi-fi router)

What you have is a phone cable and a co-ax cable, which were supplied by the previous local "Cable company* "
The cable connector will unscrew from the box, once you have done that go outside and pull the cables out through the wall.

* Cable company would supply the cable and services so you can have TV and internet at a monthly fee with no dish on the wall.
