My dear wife has assured me that i will be intalling a new flat screen telly in my kids room for Christmas, obviously this is to be on a wall with no sockets currently on it....

Any advice would be welcome on the following points

1) I have seen height restriction in Part P for outlets - Does this also cover for an appliance mounted at mid wall height?

2) Would a fused spur be better than a DSO?

3)Can i run the coaxial cable (75 Ohm) in the same chased and buried trunking as the live feed or will the electric cable cause too much interfer.. interfren... muck up the TV signal?

Hi, socket heights only apply to new build & 'substantial refurbishments'.
No as most new appliances have moulded plugs & cutting them off invalidates warentees.
No must be at least 50mm apart, never mind signal, leckie regs say seperate/segregate circuits,
