Low voltage lights not working

Can anyone advise please?
We have four 12v 35w spots in our bathroom connected to an extractor fan. Pull the cord, both fan and lights are activated.
Fan is still working lights aren't.
Is this a transformer problem? (output 12v/150va)
The bulbs seem intact and there doesn't appear to be any cabling damage or loose connections. Not sure of rating of connection blocks.
Can I check the output from the transformer? Or am I in the wrong area.
As I work 'away' it's awkward to wait in for a spark. Any ideas before I bite the bullet.
Thanks

YOUR FOUR 35W X 4 = 140W , SO RATING SEEMS OK
WITH TRANSFORMER VA OF 150.
AS LONG AS CABLES R CONNECTED OK , NO SIGNS OF OVERHEATING , AND LAMPS R SECURELY CONNECTED INTO HOLDERS ,
THEN COULD BE THE OUTPUT ON TRANSFORMER.
A MULTIMETER SET ON AC VOLTS , COULD CHECK THE TRANSFORMER
4 12 VOLTS COMING OUT OF LOW VOLTAGE SIDE.
CAUTION TO B USED AS MAINS VOLTAGE EXISTS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TRANSFORMER TERMINALS. ALSO CHECK RATING OF TERMINAL BLOCKS.
IF IN DOUBT GET IN YOUR SPARKY.
