Hi all, can anyone tell me if it's possible for me to have a cable coming from a wall socket to a fused light switch for a light? I'm sure you can providing it's correctly fused with a 5amp fuse as I need one in a large kitchen larder & without adding to much uneccessery work, the only option is for me to come off a double socket already in the larder? More to the point, is it also legal. Many thanks. Tony

Thanks for that. Mmm just as I thought. I have done just that by spuring of the socket to a 5amp fused switch not 3 & fixed the new light but for the life of me I cannot get the light to work. I've checked and triple checked all the wiring & all show as live all the way to the switch where I have tested the switches current when off & on and works ok but despite putting in a buld or should I say tried several bulbs. It just will not light up. Could it be a faulty lighting rose? Like I said, there is current going to the lighting rose. Odd
