electric sockets

we have 2 electric sockets that need to be removed or cased in and plastered over please could you tell me what i should use or any advice to block the electric and make it safe so i can plaster over the box and fill it in.

The best way is to rewire from the socket before to the socket after.
Anything else will possibly be a bodge, and proberly not conform to regs.
