New Energy efficient light fittings Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

Hello,



You may or may not be able to help me with my query. I live in a newbuild property that has come with each light fitting being part of the new energy type.



The only problem I have with this is that standard lamp shades do NOT fit these new light fittings and I am left with lots of ugly, bare bulbs around the place.



Do you have any advice on where/ when I might be able to get my hands on lampshades for these fitting?

I note Ikea sell loads of energy saving bulbs so I would expect they sell shades to match?
