Mounting gate and stop posts to a house and side wall.

I have built a wall that extends from the side garden wall and have left a gap (120 cm) between that and the side of my house to install a gate. I intend to mount the gate post to the new wall and the stop post to the house wall because I don't want the house wall bearing the load. I don't intend to sink post holes for either and simply mount them to the walls directly because I don't want them rotting.
The height of the side wall is 150cm and I'm going to put a 50 cm trellace on top and want the gate to match the overall height of 200cm.
If I use 2x4s for the posts any advice on what type of bolts/long screws should be used for each post and how many? Should I do anything to give the gate post extra support for the 50cm above the wall?
