Fencing repair spur for 4x4 timber posts?

Hi. I wondered if someone could give me a bit of advise please. What size concrete repair spur should I use with 4 x4 timber posts? I've seen some that are 4 x 3 and some 4 x 4.

If the fence is 6ft suggest you use 4x4, if it’s half this height use 4x3.
